Aw, hell. I woke up feeling like one giant, sore, bunched up muscle; did my weekly weigh-in to discover I had, in fact, gained half a pound; and then--then!--opened the oven to find that my "forgotten cookies" (meringues left in the oven overnight with the heat off) looked hideous, not at all like meringues.
But, seriously, gaining half a pound? Life is truly unfair. I dragged myself from bed to lift weights twice this week; I ordered a freaking steamed dish when we got Chinese; I tracked everything I ate and stayed within supposedly negative caloric expenditures; I let my tummy grumble a little; I did intervals. WHY, WHY???
I suspect I am constitutionally unable to drop weight. Yes, that's the spirit.

Eh; don't be too discouraged. It'll happen. And? You'll feel better no matter how quickly or slowly you lose actual weight. Really; I promise.
Ah, but the thing is that I did feel good, but now I feel tired and sore. And my throat is scratchy, and my sinuses congested. Hmmmm...wait a minute....
On a happier note, my dad (former quarterback and former football coach) thinks I probably just gained 8 oz of muscle, what with the lifting heavier weights.
Your dad may well be correct; the same thing occurred to me. And it sounds like you're ill. Ahem.
You may also find, if you continue with the current diet & exercise regime, that you don't lose a lot of weight, but you drop clothing sizes, i.e., as you become leaner, but not all that much lighter.
Or I may end up needing to let out my sleeves and take in everything else. The many hours of volleyball is giving me scary biceps that make my tee shirt sleeves tight. ;)
